乐队 介绍
1986年，Skid Row在新泽西成立，他们是90年代重金属时期时的一只典型乐队，并且获得了极大的成功。是西雅图GRUNGE音乐的兴起结束了他们的发展。
音乐的灵魂人物是Sebastian Bach (和Johann Bach可没有关系)，Skid Row从象BON JOIV、MOTLEY CRUE、GUNS N'ROSES等乐队手中争取到了许多支持者，乐队由BASS手：Rachel Bolan，鼓手：Rob Affuso，吉他手：Scotti Hill和Dave "The Snake" Sabo组成。Skid Row借助Bach的漂亮形象和公司“坏男孩”的宣传，首张专辑买出了3百多万张，其中"18 and Life"和"I Remember You," 成为当时重金属歌迷点播的热门歌曲。1991年，乐队发行了《Slave to the Grind》并冲到了排行版第一名，随后的4年中乐队没有什么行动，这是因为Bach的同性恋口号"AIDS kills fags dead"给Bach和乐队招来了媒体的大量批评。乐队好象已经走到了尽头。然而，在1995年他们又发行了《Subhuman Race》，在这张专辑中他们已经没有原来的锋芒和锐气了。
Skid Row是那个时代的一个典型的神话。乐队初次登台是做为BON JOIV的暖场表演，乐队的首张专辑中成功之处是"I Remember You"这首歌，主唱Sebastian Bach高亢动人的歌声仿佛在你耳边哭泣。他们的第二张专辑中的成功之作是"Quicksand Jesus"和"Mudkicker"，在这张专辑中他们的乐队风格开始向硬核摇滚转变。而乐队的第三张专辑则失去了原来的光芒，也许他们应该去休息一下了。
